The Russian aircraft leasing market is on the first stage of a long “stairway to heaven”. The Avialeasing Company made its first step in 1996 when the company’s lobbyist attack resulted in a know-how introduced then to the aviation world. The Company managed to facilitate a cost-demanding process of buying new generation aircraft by Russian airlines.
The Avialeasing Company realized the PS-90A engine maintenance program for the Aeroflot-RA airline.The TU-204 aircraft were taken on lease by Perm Airlines and Kavminvodyavia airline. Later on those airplanes were bought by S7 and Kavminvodyavia airlines.
At present the Avialeasing Company has successfully leased a number of the TU-154 aircraft.
The XXI century started with “the struggle for silence” that heavily limited the access of Russian carriers to international routes. Taking into account the fact that an international traffic is developing faster than domestic Avialeasing is targeting to hold a niche on the Russian aircraft lease market by lease and sale of Westaern-built aircraft.
